Karly BlankenshipKarly Blankenship is an artist and instructor from the Hampton Roads area. This is her first season with Denise Wall’s Dance Energy as an instructor, but she is familiar with the studio as this was her home and training studio from 2006 through 2010. She continued her training and obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She merges her love of technique and concert dancing to build a strong foundation within her students. Through her journey at UNCSA, she was able to study choreography and improvisation which allowed her to dive deeper into her own artistry and grow as a dancer and teacher. She instills these same techniques throughout all of her students to empower them to be both technicians and artists. Karly is excited to share her passion and love of dance with the students at Denise Wall’s Dance Energy.
