DWDE Company 2017-2018 Recap

Huge Congratulations to “Hello Loneliness” for winning Teen Best Performance and  Best Specialty Performance at The Dance Awards in Orlando, July 2017!  This is the third year in a row that our DWDE Company dancers have been awarded the winners of Teen Best Performance at The Dance Awards.  Congratulations also to “Fast Car” for winning Best Lyrical Performance.
 
Another Huge Congratulations to our very own, Wyeth Walker, who won Male National Senior Best Dancer at The Dance Awards in Orlando, July 2017!
 
Also, our incredible Studio won the Professionalism Award at the Dance Awards in Orlando, July 2018!  We are so lucky to have this fantastic faculty right here in Virginia Beach to teach and mentor our dancers!

In July, 2017, Denise Wall’s Dance Energy Company competed in “The Dance Awards” National Competition in Orlando, FL where they were recognized as “National Winners” in the Teen category.  We had many exceptional performances and scored very well with all numbers.  Here are some of the results:

Congratulations to ”Hello Loneliness”, they were selected to perform in the Gala at “The Dance Awards”.  “Hello Loneliness” was awarded Winner Best Performance Teen Division, this makes DWDE Company Winners of Best Performance Teen Division three years in a row!!
 
Congratulations to:  Wyeth Walker for being the National Senior Male Winner, Jordan Gaskin for being Top Twenty Female Senior Finalist, Anessa Zivic for being Top Four Female Teen Finalist, Trinity Bonilla for being Top Ten Female Teen Finalist, Anthony Kelly for being Top Twelve Male Teen Finalist, Emily Weisner for being Top Twenty Female Teen Finalist.

Denise Walls’s Dance Energy Company will be competing this summer at “The Dance Awards” National Competition in Orlando Florida July 13th-19th.  Many of our dancers won National scholarships at Regional conventions and are eligible to compete in the “Best Dancer” competition at Nationals.

Being a member of the Denise Wall’s Dance Energy Company is truly an amazing experience!  At the core of this company is Denise Wall, a creative genius with a passion for dance and love for children.  We are very fortunate to have Denise, Cami, Aimee and the entire DWDE staff work closely with our children.  Cami and Aimee assist Denise and travel to all the competitions with us and together, Denise, Cami and Aimee have worked endless hours at the studio helping to perfect all the numbers.  We are truly blessed to have them as dance teachers, choreographers and mentors for our children.  Thank you so much for all that you do!  You are an inspiration for all of us!
