Welcome to the National award winning Denise Walls' Dance Energy Studio, offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Pointe, and Flamenco. Since opening in 1993, Denise Walls Dance Energy has turned out students that have gone on to careers with American Ballet Theatre, Kirov, Broadway, along with various professions with performance groups on cruise ships, hit T.V. shows, and multiple professional theatre groups, and more. Students with little previous dance training soared to unthinkable heights, while more experienced students had their skills nurtured and pushed to a boundless limit. Denise Walls Dance Energy offers a program which covers a full range of techniques necessary for each of the dance arts. The studio's faculty consists of professional teachers who are fully qualified to provide training that will prepare those students who have the talent and desire to enter a career that is professional and or recreational..

Boys/Mens Ballet Classes now offered

Taught by instructor Alex Cooke, our male ballet classes are designed to increase the dancer's technique, skill, musicality, and artistic expression in the classical ballet tradition. These classes focus on learning classical ballet with an understanding of how the body functions and students are expected to apply this knowledge to their movement. Students are also instructed in proper injury prevention techniques. Contact the office during office hours to set up a placement evaluation.

We are currently accepting registration for classes!

Please note: Our schedule is not available via the website! Please stop by or call the office during office hours to set up a placement evaluation.

Class Placement for all students are according to their physical facility, talent, and ability. Class placement will be carefully reviewed and evaluated by the teacher and director. Previous dance experience may or may not be considered in a placement evaluation. New students will receive a “tentative schedule” sheet that must be given to the teacher before class begins, and at the end of class the teacher will return the sheet to the student with the teacher’s decision on the most appropriate class for the student. This sheet must be filled out and returned to the main office to complete registration.

CAPEZIO ACE AWARD
Congratulations to Travis Wall, for winning the
coveted Capezio Ace Award for choreography in New York!!

The number he created, "Long Walk" was competed for
Travis by DWDE Teen and Senior Company members,
who were up against many professional dancers!

Travis will receive a $15,000 first prize award, towards his own show in a New York Theatre! Stay tuned for details!
